Free triathlon seminar: Training from inside out

Are you looking to take up the Triathlon or other endurance sport? Perhaps you have competed before and are in search of top tips for your next event?

Endurance Nutritional Therapist Fleur Borrelli (BSc Nut Med BA Hons MBant NTCC) will explain how making simple changes to your diet and eating patterns can reduce reliance on high carb foods and energy drinks, while also making you a better fat burner.  She willl also tell you what you can do to optimise your inflammatory and immune responses, and you will learn why a one size fits all approach doesn't work for everyone.

To round off the evening, triathletes Heather Sellars (of Team GB) and David Hemmings (of Velosport) will share motivation, experiences, advice and stories from inside the sport.

This triathlon seminar is open to triathletes and other endurance athletes. These talks are free. However, due to limited space, booking is essential. To book your place,  call 020 8789 3881 or send an email to info@putneyclinic.co.uk.

Fleur is a the resident nutritional therapist at The Putney Clinic of Physical Therapy. She is also the co-author of the best-selling In-Sync Diet alongside Glynis Barber. Fleur is an experienced sports nutritionist. Given her knowledge in this field, she has devised a programme called RISE. This programme is based on the five keys to achieving optimal physical performance, which are: Recovery, Immunity, Strength and Energy.

Fleur provides Nutritional Therapy from a clinical perspective. With regard to her treatments, they are part preventative and part regenerative medicine. She bases her approach on new developments in the field of psychology, neurology, endocrinology and immunology.  Taking this into account, she then looks at how these systems interact with each other.
