About the workshop

The word 'rasa' has many beautiful meanings: in the arts, rasa is the transforming “taste” that brings inner satisfaction to the beauty of dance, music or painting. Within yoga and Ayurveda, rasa is our “inner juice” associated with longevity, joy, devotion, and flexibility. Without rasa, it is said, our experience of yoga and life, becomes “dry, rigid, routine”.

About the workshop
Join us for a full day of teacher training which will be either as a continuation of our Elemental Vinyasa and Body Pilgrimage to Glastonbury or, for those who have already studied with Shiva, a chance to spend a day re-igniting their teaching.

On Saturday morning we will explore Hridaya Namaskar and Sequences. Exploring the Prana Namaskar sequence focusing on the air element and the expansion of the heart region. In this workshop we will study the Hridaya namaskar and sequence including the understanding of Prana Flow® Movement Alchemy, Wave Sequencing™; and including the hands-on assist and underlying energetic alignment.

Mindfulness through Yoga with A.G. and Indra Mohan

It is a great honour and pleasure to welcome A.G. and Indra Mohan, two of the few surviving senior students of Krishnamacarya, to Yogacampus for a special one day workshop.

Yoga today is primarily viewed as a system of physical fitness. However, the core text on yoga - The Yogasutras of Patanjali - contains invaluable insights into mental health and well-being.

This practical workshop will enable participants better to understand the workings of the mind and will introduce the application of mindfulness in practices of yoga.
