New York - Don Corleone and Statue of Liberty.

New York March 11 177 , originally uploaded by yogamama.co.uk . I have lots of classic Manhattan photographs from our recent trip to New York, but here is a classic family photo. My daughter - seen here in her PJ's - clutching a football magazine is re-enacting her take on the Statue of Liberty. My son is doing his interpretation of the New York gangster Don Corleone; wearing his sister's hat, his mother's coat and puffing on an unlit cigar. Family holidays :-)

Super Perigrine Moon

Perigrine Moon 002 , originally uploaded by yogamama.co.uk . Tonights Perigrine moon appears once every 18 years. It could be 14% bigger and 30% brighter than usual, according to NASA. The moon has an elliptical orbit around the Earth; when the moon seems smaller and more distant, it's on the farthest side (apogee) of its orbit, while the perigee side is about 31,000 miles closer to Earth. Even this sometimes renegade yogi did not practice or teach Ashtanga on this very special moon day. London: March 19th 2011
